HIPAA eLearning

Designed for a public university, this interactive eLearning experience teaches about the permitted use and disclosure of protected health information for students, staff, and employees.

Audience: Employees who are entrusted with information that is protected by the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Learning Objectives: The learner will describe the basic privacy protections for health information provided by HIPAA and identify the duties imposed on persons with access to protected health information (PHI) in order to fulfill those privacy requirements.
Tool Used: Articulate Rise 360

PowerPoint Screencast

This screencast is a micro lesson designed to teach viewers how to create a custom color palette for their presentations on PowerPoint.

Audience: Students and Professionals who use PowerPoint to create presentations or projects.
Learning Objective: The learner will create a color palette on PowerPoint by adding colors from an image using the dropper tool or color hex codes.
Tools Used: PowerPoint, Screenpal

Interactive Tutorial

This interactive tutorial walks the user through setting up a custom banner on their Google Classroom site. Incorporating iorad’s innovative technology, the user interacts by clicking or dragging specific buttons as they learn each step.

Audience: Teachers and Professionals who use Google Classroom.
Learning Objective: The learner will be able to customize the class banner on their Google Classroom site.

Animated Informational Video

Using Vyond’s animation technology, this video was designed to inform viewers of the variety of services the Boston Public Library offers to library card holders.

Audience: Residents of Boston, Massachusetts and it’s outer suburbs who hold a Boston Public Library card.
Learning Objective: To inspire viewers to check out the additional services offered by the Boston Public Library.

Book Journal Website

This is one of the first projects I created for the Instructional Design M.Ed program. Due to the rise of #Booktok on the app, TikTok, and it’s users interest in journaling as a hobby, I created a website that walks learners through setting up a reading journal.

Audience: Social media users who part of the online book community on apps such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Learning Objective: Learners will be able to track their reading habits by designing a book journal with a pencil, ruler, and a blank dot grid journal.
